§ 11.306

11-306. Authority to construct, acquire, lease or sell health care institutions Counties, cities, including charter cities, and towns of this state may construct, purchase, own, lease, either as lessor or lessee, and sell either for cash or on a deferred installment sales contract one or more health care institutions as the term is defined in section 36-401. This section shall not be construed as granting additional powers to, or limiting existing powers of, counties, cities and towns regarding the operation of health care institutions. The lease or sales agreements may contain any provision deemed necessary by the governing body in order to secure the payment thereof.
