11-357. County employees; political campaigns; applicability A. Notwithstanding any other law, a county employee who is employed by the county elections department shall not be a chairman, treasurer or other officer of any political campaign, including a candidate campaign committee. B. This section applies without regard to whether the county employee is covered as a member of the county employee merit system but does not apply to a person holding elected office.
