11-571. County volunteer forest fire wardens; appointment; term Judges of the superior court in each county may appoint any number of voluntary forest fire wardens deemed necessary for the proper protection of the forested lands within the county. The wardens shall serve without pay, and their appointments shall expire on November 1 each year.
