11-706. Termination of the authority The board of supervisors may terminate an authority established under this chapter if it determines that the authority is no longer in the public interest, convenience or necessity. The termination procedures are the same as prescribed in section 11-701 for establishing the authority. The termination is effective from and after the following June 30. On termination the county assumes all outstanding liabilities and obligations and acquires all assets of the authority.
