12-118. Use of credit cards by courts; definition A. A court may accept a credit card, debit card, charge card, electronic transfer or other means as approved by the supreme court or the presiding judge for the payment of any monies payable to the court including but not limited to filing fees, bonds, fines, fees, sanctions, penalties, surcharges, assessments and restitution. B. The court may impose a convenience fee for payment made pursuant to this section. C. For the purposes of this section, ' convenience fee' means an additional fee that is imposed by the court or an authorized agent for the acceptance of monies pursuant to subsection A of this section.
