12-1597. Mailing; receipt; presumptions A. For the purposes of this article, it is presumed that a document has been received five days after it is mailed as provided in section 12-1570, paragraph 1, subdivision (b). B. For the purposes of the article, if a party to the garnishment action mails a document to the address contained in the writ or to the most recent address contained in the party's records, it is presumed that the party has complied with the good faith requirement of section 12-1570, paragraph 1, subdivision (b). C. For the purposes of this article, delivery as defined by section 12-1570, paragraph 1, subdivision (b) shall not be deemed service by mail.
