Opening, reading or publishing sealed letter of another without authority; classification A person who knowingly opens or reads or causes to be read a sealed letter not addressed to himself, without being authorized so to do either by the writer of such letter, or by the person to whom it is addressed, or a person who, without like authority, publishes the contents of such letter, knowing it to have been unlawfully opened, is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.
