15-394. Preservation of years of employment The years of employment of a certificated teacher who has been employed by a school district for more than the major portion of three consecutive school years shall be preserved if that teacher moves from a school district to a career technical education district or from a career technical education district to a school district if the school district governing board recognizes the previously established years of employment of the teacher, provided such districts are participating in the career technical education district.
