15-804. Attendance officer; appointment; salary A. The governing board of a school district may appoint an attendance officer for the school district. The salary of the attendance officer shall be fixed by the governing board and paid from the funds of the school district. B. If in the opinion of the governing boards of two or more school districts one officer will adequately serve such districts, such officer may be appointed by the districts jointly. His salary may be apportioned as the governing boards provide and shall be paid from the funds of the school districts.
