20-107. Limitation on transaction of insurance; exception A. No person shall transact a business of insurance in this state, or relative to a subject of insurance resident, located or to be performed in this state, without complying with the applicable provisions of this title. B. No provision of this title shall be deemed to require any license or other authority, or impose any penalty or requirement except as provided by section 20-421, of or upon any person for negotiation or procurement of insurance by him upon his own insurable interests, with or from an insurer not authorized to transact insurance in this state.
