20-492. Definitions In this article, unless the context otherwise requires: 1. ' Corporate governance annual disclosure' or ' CGAD' means a confidential report that is filed by the insurer or insurance group and that is made in accordance with the requirements of this article. 2. ' Insurance group' means those insurers and affiliates included within an insurance holding company system as defined in section 20-481. 3. ' Insurer' : (a) Means a domestic insurer as defined in section 20-203. (b) Does not include: (i) An agency, authority or instrumentality of the United States and its possessions and territories, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico or the District of Columbia. (ii) A state. (iii) A political subdivision of a state.
