No employer shall directly or indirectly make, require or accept a deduction from wages to finance the employer's contributions or payments in lieu of contributions required from him, or require or accept a waiver of any right under this chapter by any individual in his employ. B. An employer or officer or agent of an employer who violates any provision of this section is guilty of a class 2 misdemeanor.
