27-602. Extension of expiration date The governor is authorized, for and in the name of the state, to execute agreements for the further extension of the expiration date of the interstate compact to conserve oil and gas, and to determine if and when it is to the best interest of the state to withdraw from the compact following a sixty-day notice as provided by its terms. In the event of withdrawal, the governor may in his discretion effect the reentry of the state into the compact as provided in this article.
