28-1526. Point assessment If a person violates chapter 3 or 4 of this title, the department may assess points against the person's driving record for only one violation if multiple violations result from the same action or course of conduct. For the purposes of this section, the department shall assess the number of points for the violation that the department determines has the highest number of points.
