28-936. Lamps on parked vehicles A. When a vehicle is lawfully parked on a street or highway during the hours between a half hour after sunset and a half hour before sunrise and if there is sufficient light to reveal a person or object within a distance of five hundred feet on the street or highway, lights need not be displayed on the parked vehicle. B. When a vehicle is parked or stopped on a roadway or shoulder adjacent to the roadway, whether attended or unattended, during the hours between a half hour after sunset and a half hour before sunrise and if there is not sufficient light to reveal a person or object within a distance of five hundred feet on the highway, the parked or stopped vehicle shall be equipped with one or more lamps that exhibit a white or amber light on the roadway side and that are visible from a distance of five hundred feet to the front of the vehicle and a red light visible from a distance of five hundred feet to the rear. This subsection does not apply to a motor driven cycle. C. A lighted head lamp on a parked vehicle shall be depressed or dimmed.
