3-1002. Compensation of members; personal interest in contracts prohibited; classification A. Board members shall not receive compensation for their services. B. No board member or employee shall, either directly or indirectly, have any financial interest in a contract made by the board. C. A person violating any provisions of this section is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor.
