3-1238. Exemptions The provisions of this article do not apply to: 1. A person whose only share in the proceeds of a sale of cattle or beef is a sales commission, handling fee or other service fee. 2. A person to whom all of the following apply: (a) The person acquired ownership of cattle to facilitate the transfer of ownership of the cattle from the seller to a third party. (b) The person resold the cattle no later than ten days from the date on which he acquired ownership. (c) The person certified to the council, in the manner prescribed by the council, that the requirements of this paragraph are satisfied.
