3-1269. Use of unrecorded brand prohibited; violation; classification; exception A. A person who knowingly brands livestock with an unrecorded, cancelled, suspended or forfeited brand is guilty of a class 3 misdemeanor. B. This section does not apply to persons that brand livestock with year, birth, numeric herd or alphabetic herd brands.
