30-106. Organization of commission; compensation; oath A. The commission shall select a chairman and a vice-chairman from among its membership who shall each hold office for terms of two years, to begin and end on the first Monday in January. B. Members of the commission shall receive compensation as determined pursuant to section 38-611 for time actually spent in the service of the authority, but the total compensation shall not exceed three thousand dollars per annum, exclusive of allowable expenses. C. Members of the commission in order to qualify for office shall take and subscribe to an official oath to perform the duties of their office. The oath shall thereupon be filed with the secretary of state. All official oaths required by this chapter shall be in the form prescribed by law for official oaths of state officers.
