32-1323. Embalmers and funeral directors; application for licensure A. An applicant for licensure as an embalmer or funeral director shall submit a completed application on a form prescribed by the department. The application shall be subscribed under oath and shall be accompanied by: 1. Any educational, professional and employment information required by the department in its rules. 2. A completed fingerprint card and the prescribed fingerprint background check fee. 3. Any other information required by the department. 4. All applicable fees pursuant to section 32-1309. B. If the department finds that the applicant meets the criteria for licensure under this article and rules adopted by the department, the department shall issue the appropriate license.
