32-3421. Practicing without a license; prohibition; use of titles A. Except as provided by section 32-3422, a person shall not do any of the following in this state unless licensed pursuant to this chapter: 1. Practice or assist in the practice of occupational therapy. 2. Claim to be an occupational therapist, an occupational therapy assistant or a provider of occupational therapy services. 3. Render occupational therapy services. B. A person shall not use any of the following titles, or any letters, abbreviations or insignia of these titles, in connection with that person's name or place of business unless the person is licensed pursuant to this chapter: 1. Occupational therapist. 2. Licensed occupational therapist. 3. Occupational therapist registered. 4. Occupational therapy assistant. 5. Licensed occupational therapy assistant. 6. Certified occupational therapy assistant.
