34-453. Energy performance goals for state buildings A. The department of administration shall apply energy conservation measures to and shall improve the design for the construction of capital projects so that the energy consumption per gross square foot in use during fiscal year 1992-1993 is at least ten per cent less than the energy consumption per gross square foot in use during fiscal year 1985-1986. B. The department of administration may exclude from the requirements of subsection A any capital project or portion of a capital project in which energy intensive activities are carried out. The department of administration shall identify and list those exclusions. C. The department of administration shall report on energy conservation related activities in the annual state capital improvement plan.
