35-141. General fund; payment of salaries and expenses The general fund consists of all money received into the state treasury except money designated by law for other statutory funds. Salaries of state officers, salaries of deputies, assistants, clerks and employees, and expenses incident to the offices thereof, shall be paid from the general fund or the respective fund indicated when and as authorized in the general appropriation act or any other appropriation enacted by the legislature.
