36-192. County health departments; naloxone kits The department and the Arizona health care cost containment system shall continue to distribute naloxone kits as necessary. In addition, a county health department may provide to a person who is at risk of experiencing or who is experiencing an opioid-related overdose a kit that contains naloxone hydrochloride or any other opioid antagonist that is approved by the United States food and drug administration for the treatment of a drug overdose.
