36-261. Children who have a chronic illness or physical disability; program Subject to the availability of monies, the department shall establish and administer a program for children who have a chronic illness or physical disability or who are suffering from a condition that leads to a chronic illness or physical disability. The program shall provide for: 1. The development, extension and improvement of services for locating these children. 2. The evaluation of needs. 3. The gathering of statistical information. 4. A statewide information and referral service for children who have a chronic illness or physical disability to link those children and their families with local service providers.
