36-2247. Certificates of necessity; ambulance services; name change At least thirty days before the date an ambulance service changes its legal name, the ambulance service shall send the department written notice of the name change. Within thirty days after the date of receiving the notice, the department shall issue an amended certificate of necessity that incorporates the name change but retains the expiration date of the current certificate of necessity.
