36-895. Licensing and monitoring of child care facilities; financial agreements A. The department of health services shall license child care facilities and monitor their operation to ensure that the level of care being provided is adequate. The department of economic security shall not duplicate the monitoring functions of the department of health services and shall accept the decisions of the department of health services concerning compliance with licensing standards. B. The department of economic security may prepare and enter into financial agreements with child care providers as defined in section 46-801.
