37-1385. School protection; definition A. The assistant director of the office of the state fire marshal, deputy fire marshal or an assistant fire inspector shall enforce rules and regulations for establishing programs for evacuating school buildings and for instructing all students in public and private schools as to proper methods of fire prevention and control and of the importance thereof. Such rules, regulations and programs shall be transmitted to the department of education for distribution to those schools. B. For the purposes of this article, ' school' means an educational institution of any description, public or private, wherever situated in this state.
