38-413. Charging excessive fees; classification A. If an officer demands and receives a higher fee than prescribed by law, or any fee not so allowed, such officer shall be liable to the party aggrieved in an amount four times the fee unlawfully demanded and received by him. B. An officer who violates this section is guilty of a class 5 felony.
