39-143. Judgment of restoration; recording of judgment; judgment as substitute for original instrument A. If upon the trial of the action provided for in section 39-142, the court finds that such instrument existed, and has been lost or destroyed and determines the contents thereof, it shall enter a judgment containing the finding and a description of the lost instrument and contents thereof. B. A certified copy of the judgment may be recorded, and shall be substituted for and have the same force and effect as the original instrument.
