41-1237. Violation; classification A. Any person who knowingly violates any of the provisions of this article and any person who knowingly files any document provided for in this article that contains any materially false statement or material omission or any person who knowingly fails to comply with any material requirement of this article is guilty of a class 1 misdemeanor unless another classification is specifically prescribed in this article. B. Any alleged violation of any provisions of this article may be investigated and prosecuted by the attorney general or by the county attorney of the county in which the alleged offense was committed.
