41-2205. Central state repository A. The central state repository for the collection, storage and dissemination of criminal history record information is established. The department of public safety shall operate the central state repository pursuant to rules adopted by the department. The department shall conduct annual audits to ensure that each criminal justice agency is complying with rules governing the maintenance and dissemination of criminal history record information. B. Each criminal justice agency shall report criminal history record information, whether collected manually or by means of an automated system, to the central state repository pursuant to sections 41-1750 and 41-1751.
