41-324. Court reporters; notarial acts A. Court reporters who administer oaths and affirmations in judicial proceedings are exempt from the provisions of this chapter other than section 41-269, subsections C and D. Court reporters who are commissioned as notaries and who perform notarial acts outside of judicial proceedings are subject to all provisions of this chapter and of other laws of this state that regulate notaries public. B. A court reporter who prepares a transcript of a judicial proceeding shall attach a certificate page to the transcript. On the certificate page, the court reporter shall attest to the fact that the reporter administered an oath or affirmation to each witness whose testimony appears in the transcript. C. An affidavit of nonappearance that is prepared by a court reporter does not need to be witnessed by a notary public.
