41-904. Inspection of institutions; repairs and improvements A. The governor shall, without notice, visit each institution under his control at least once every four months, and inspect every part of the institution and all places, buildings and grounds belonging thereto or used in connection therewith. B. The governor shall have general charge of the erection of new buildings and of repairs and improvements of buildings, and improvement of grounds and other properties belonging to the institutions under his control, and may, in the name of the state, bring actions necessary to protect the interests of the state therein.
