A pet dealer shall maintain a written record on the health, status and disposition of each cat and dog at the time of sale for at least one year after the cat or dog is sold or as otherwise provided by law. B. The records shall contain all of the information that is required by section 44-1799.02 and shall be made available to animal control officers, law enforcement officers and representatives of the county health or environmental services department for inspection during normal business hours.
