44-1971. Initiation of hearing; purpose of hearing Hearings may be ordered by the commission on the commission's own initiative or at the written request of any interested person: 1. For the purpose of administering or obtaining information necessary in the enforcement of this chapter or the rules, regulations or orders of the commission thereunder. 2. To enable the commission to take appropriate action in connection with any pending application for registration of any securities, dealer or salesman. 3. To modify the terms and conditions of any registration. 4. To determine whether the registration of any securities or of any dealer or salesman should be denied, suspended or revoked.
