45-1447. State and United States held harmless; nonliability The director shall not disburse any monies appropriated pursuant to this chapter or any special appropriations for flood control unless and until a public agency has in writing assumed the obligations of maintenance and provided this state and, if applicable, the federal government with written indemnification from damages due to the construction of flood control projects.
