49-1011. Right to inspect records, tanks and equipment A. For the purposes of developing rules, conducting studies or enforcing the provisions of this chapter, an owner or operator of an underground storage tank shall, on request of the director: 1. Furnish to the department information relating to the tank and its associated equipment and contents. 2. Permit the director to conduct monitoring and testing of tanks or surrounding soils, air, surface water or groundwater. 3. Permit the director to inspect and copy all records relating to tanks. 4. Permit the director to inspect and obtain samples of regulated substances contained in tanks. B. The director shall conduct all inspections permitted pursuant to subsection A at a reasonable time and complete these inspections with reasonable promptness.
