8-306. Supervision and inspection of juvenile detention center and shelter care facilities A. The presiding judge of the juvenile court shall supervise the juvenile detention center and may appoint a person of good moral character to operate and manage the detention center. B. The department of juvenile corrections shall inspect the detention centers of each county semiannually and within ten working days after each inspection shall make a written report to the presiding judge of the juvenile court of the condition and operation of the detention center, together with such recommendations as it deems advisable, and a copy of such report shall be filed with the county board of supervisors.
