9-601. Arizona convention center development fund; purpose The Arizona convention center development fund is established to encourage and enable eligible cities under section 9-604 to develop and expand municipally operated major convention center facilities designed to serve large conventions and trade shows attended primarily by residents of other states and to encourage the tourism and visitor industries in this state.
