Section 10-3-211 - Function during recess - Compensation

If a regular session of the General Assembly is extended and the House of Representatives and the Senate recess for a period in excess of thirty (30) calendar days, the Legislative Council, the Legislative Joint Auditing Committee, and other interim committees of the General Assembly are authorized to meet and transact their normal business during the recess. They shall be entitled to per diem and mileage for attending meetings and attending to the official business of the committee to the same extent as during the interim between sessions of the General Assembly.Acts 1973, No. 810, § 1; A.S.A. 1947, § 4-148.
