Section 11-2-104 - Penalties

(a) Any employer or owner who violates or fails or refuses to comply with any provision of this subchapter, any lawful order of the Director of the Division of Labor, or any judgment or decree made by any court in connection with the provisions of this subchapter for which no penalty has been otherwise provided shall be guilty of a misdemeanor.(b) Upon conviction, the employer or owner shall be fined not less than ten dollars ($10.00) nor more than one hundred dollars ($100), or shall be imprisoned for a period not exceeding six (6) months, or both fined and imprisoned for each offense.(c) Each day the violation, omission, failure, or refusal continues shall be deemed a separate offense.
