No assignment or order for wages to be earned in the future to secure a loan of less than two hundred dollars ($200) shall be valid against any employer of the person making the assignment or order until the assignment or order is accepted in writing by the employer and the assignment or order and the acceptance of it has been filed with the recorder of the county where the party making the assignment or order resides if a resident of this state or in the state where he or she is employed.Amended by Act 2013, No. 1151,§ 2, eff. 8/16/2013.Acts 1911, No. 34, §§ 1, 2; C. & M.
