The purpose of this subchapter is to allow volunteer organizations to request and receive information regarding the qualifications of an individual who volunteers his or her time or services to work with children, the elderly, victims of domestic abuse, or individuals with disabilities based upon the individual's state and federal criminal history.Acts 2005, No. 1778, § 1.
