Section 12-12-1704 - Spiritual treatment alone not abusive

Nothing in this subchapter shall be construed to mean that an endangered person or an impaired person who is being furnished with treatment by spiritual means alone through prayer in accordance with the tenets and practices of a recognized church or religious denomination by an accredited practitioner of the church or religious denomination is for that reason alone an endangered person or an impaired person.Acts 2005, No. 1812, § 1.
