Section 12-12-310 - Reimbursement for use of outside faculty

(a) The State Crime Laboratory shall reimburse the Graduate Institute of Technology and a medical school in this state accredited by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or approved by the Arkansas Higher Education Coordinating Board to seek accreditation by an accrediting agency recognized by the United States Department of Education for the use of personnel from the institute and the medical school in performing services for the laboratory.(b) The participation of a medical school's faculty and institute faculty in carrying out the provisions of this subchapter shall in no way affect their tenure with the medical school and institute.Amended by Act 2017, No. 147,§ 2, eff. 2/7/2017.Acts 1977, No. 517, § 3; A.S.A. 1947, § 42-1204.
