Arkansas Legal Code
(a) If the Child Abuse Hotline receives a report that a client or a resident of a facility licensed or registered by the State of Arkansas has been subjected to child maltreatment while at the facility, the Department of Human Services and the Department of Arkansas State Police shall immediately notify the facility director and the facility's licensing or registering authority of the Child Abuse Hotline's receipt of a report of suspected child maltreatment.(b) If the Child Abuse Hotline receives a report that a client or a resident of a facility operated by the Department of Human Services or a facility operated under contract with the Department of Human Services has been subjected to child maltreatment while at the facility, the Department of Human Services and the Department of Arkansas State Police shall immediately notify the appropriate division director and the facility director of the Child Abuse Hotline's receipt of initial report of suspected child maltreatment.(c) If the Child Abuse Hotline receives a report that a child in the custody of the Department of Human Services has been subjected to child maltreatment while in the custody of the Department of Human Services,
