(a) The Arkansas Commission on Law Enforcement Standards and Training is exempt from § 19-6-109(c) for the purpose of buying uniforms for students and law enforcement officers employed by the Division of Law Enforcement Standards and Training.(b) The amount spent for the purchase of uniforms under subsection (a) of this section in any one (1) year is limited to forty thousand dollars ($40,000).(c) The Department of Public Safety may purchase uniforms for employees of the Law Enforcement Safety Office.Amended by Act 2023, No. 836,§ 1, eff. 8/1/2023.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 5817, eff. 7/1/2019.Amended by Act 2018F, No. 202,§ 9, eff. 7/1/2018.Amended by Act 2017, No. 497,§ 8, eff. 8/1/2017.Acts 1999, No. 1022, § 7.
