Notwithstanding any other provision of law or Division of Correction's commitment which may exist to the contrary, the Board of Corrections shall not increase any reimbursement rate for payments made to any county for the purpose of reimbursing the expenses of the care and custody of state inmates without first seeking and receiving the approval of the Governor and the Chief Fiscal Officer of the State.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 754, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1993, No. 911, § 19; 1995, No. 158, § 13.
