Section 12-30-215 - Purchase for construction or operation of prison

Any contractor or subcontractor who has entered into a contract with or for the benefit of a state board, state agency, or state-supported institution of higher education for constructing, equipping, or operating, in whole or in part, any facility of the board, agency, or institution may purchase goods produced by the Division of Correction and the Division of Community Correction for use in the performance of the contract.Amended by Act 2019, No. 910,§ 822, eff. 7/1/2019.Acts 1997, No. 877, § 1; 1999, No. 145, § 1.
